The wine
Jean Gautreau bought Sociando-Mallet in 1969, when the estate had only a few hectares of vines left, then patiently restored its standing. Since then the cru has cultivated its singular motto: “neither classified nor bourgeois… simply Sociando-Mallet”.

Nose
Nose of blackberry, blueberry, leather, cocoa and dried flowers.
