Cardenxe

Sotol, not tequila: the spirit is distilled from dasylirion, a Mexican desert plant that has nothing to do with agave. The two cuvées are named after their terroir — Desierto and Sierra — and they really do taste different, one drier and more mineral, the other more herbal. A curiosity that few wine shops stock.
